Description: Unlike Kaju Katli which is solely made of cashew nuts, Kaju Mysore Pak has a hint of Cashew in the original recipe of Mysore Pak. As the name suggests Mysore Pak originated in the city of Mysuru in Karnataka.
It is made by adding a generous amount of Ghee, Besan (Gram flour), and of course sugar with a mild flavor of cardamom to it.
The texture of this sweet is similar to a buttery and dense cookie that dissolves in the mouth leaving a sweet, creamy feel behind. The cashews add a nice nutty flavor to it. The 10-day Dussehra festival is incomplete without this sweet and is also often prepared in baby showers.
